Welding 1

Our Welding 1 course uses the CWB Group’s Learning Resources framework to provide a combination of theoretical and practical learning opportunities. This first-level practical welding course explores basic shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), basic gas metal arc welding (GMAW), welding health and safety, power sources, and the use of hand and power tools. Learn the basic principles involved in SMAW and GMAW in the flat and horizontal positions.
