Standard First Aid

This course meets the WSIB 1101 First Aid training requirements for workplaces. A variety of topics are covered from basic first aid such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR, prevention of disease transmission to more severe sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training is also provided with the course. Each participant receives a Red Cross First Aid Manual.Successful participants will receive Canadian Red Cross certification that is valid for 3 years (Note: Some programs and careers may require you to recertify sooner).
