Robotics and Industrial Automation (Optional Co-op)

This full-time graduate certificate program will help prepare graduates with a previous technical degree or diploma for exciting careers in several fields including, but not limited to, mechatronic applications, advanced robotics, additive manufacturing, industry 4.0, 3D CAD, smart systems, and industrial automation. Studies combine theoretical knowledge with applied skills in the control of robotic and automated equipment using electronics, programmable automation controllers, computers, hydraulics and pneumatics. This program offers key practical courses similar to those found in our highly successful Mechanical Engineering Technology Robotics and Automation Technology program including advanced programming, automation and process controls, and robotics and culminates in a final term industrial automation project. The optional co-op stream includes one co-op work term instead of the Guided Career Management course.
