MMRI Industrial Training Program – Materials Engineering

This course combines a number of one day modules to teach students a number of valuable skills used in materials engineering. Topics covered include: stress and strain, stress-strain curves, important mechanical properties, mechanical testing methods, micro/nano-mechanical testing, scratch testing, atomic force microscopy (AFM), results interpretation, friction and wear, tribology, and numerous real life applications to understand how to apply learned methods in real life scenarios.
