Machine Shop 2

Intended for individuals employed, or seeking employment, in the industrial mechanical area who wish to enhance their knowledge of general machine shop practice and/or to improve practical skills on specific, conventional machine tools. Machine Tool Operators may operate machine tools such as lathes, drilling machines, milling machines, grinders, or special purpose machines to machine work piece on a production basis. This is a hands-on course: practice safety procedures, related operational formulae, intermediate engine lathe operation, including eccentric turning, internal & external thread cutting, as well as basic drilling, milling and surface grinding operations.
