NOC Tag: Actors and comedians

This hands on course introduces the student to 3D modeling using Solidworks. Topics include correct setup of model files, sketching techniques to produce both revolved and extrudes bodies, single body models and assemblies, 2D engineering drawings created from 3D models and editing of existing models.

This 30-hour micro-credential will develop the skills to interpret engineering drawings. Examine manufacturing process required to build components. Identify tolerances, materials and basic geometric dimensioning. Interpret hidden lines, section lines, thread types and ground surface symbols.
